Shr3dt ("we", "us") provides quoting and production-management software for 3D-printing businesses ("shops"). This policy covers two kinds of people: shop staff who create a Shr3dt account, and a shop's own customers who submit a print request through a shop's embedded quote form.
Shr3dt is currently in a pilot phase — a small number of shops using it before a wider release. This policy will be reviewed and formalised as the service grows.
From shop staff: name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password).
From a shop's customers, submitted through the public quote form: name, email, phone number, and optionally a company name, address, and a message. Any 3D model file uploaded to get a quote (STL, OBJ or 3MF) is stored so the shop can review and print it.
A shop's customer data is only ever visible to that shop and to Shr3dt's operator for support and platform administration — never to any other shop on the platform.
We use a small number of service providers to run Shr3dt, each only for what they do:
We don't sell data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
An uploaded model file is deleted once the job built from it is marked complete, or automatically after 24 hours if it was never turned into a saved quote. The measured size/shape of a part is kept alongside the quote for the shop's own records even after the file itself is gone.
Account, customer and quote records are kept for as long as the account is active, so a shop retains its own business history. A shop owner can request deletion of their account and everything under it at any time — see Contact below.
Shr3dt sets one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It's required for the app to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising. We don't use analytics or marketing cookies.
Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Every shop's data is scoped to that shop in our database — one shop can never see another's customers, quotes, or files.
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and update the date at the top when we do.
